My Battle with Bipolar Disorder

Since my early twenties, I have suffered from bipolar disorder. I am now in my mid-forties and have managed to keep it under control through the use of medications as well as the support of my friends, family and my wonderful and compassionate husband.

Believe me, I understand. I spent a good hour yesterday talking with another bipolar and compairng notes. It's very, very important that we help each other out - we are far too misunderstood.

Check out todays' WaPo story on Garry Trudeau and Jane Pauley - she has written a memoir about her bipolar experiences that I am now going to have to read.

I'll send you this in an email also - take care and please, please stay in touch.
