Celebacy and poverty, though extreme, are yet still devotion, must like fasting. Yes, we exist as material beings and material beings we shall be always, but to concentrate soley in the realm of the material will eventually end up in a spiritual worshipping of self, either through gratification, enlightenment, collection or otherwise. I am sorry your mother never explained to you her love. Or the love of the almighty. The phsical body is of the clay and must follow its path. Some of us don't want to be here. Yet we stay hoping to make a small differance. I like to try to give smiles. My Mom started her antique business with my toys, so I buy new one's to replace my loss.
