		<description>a few years ago, i suggested to a survey about elder-exercise that online exercise buddy would be useful.  they liked idea but that was the end of that.  what if every other day--or some such--two people exchanged message:  did you walk one block today (or whatever the goal was)?

too utopian?  thinking again, we have to watch that!  oh yes, still thinking about your writing about class in america. -naomi</description>

		<description>You REMEMBER your body? You're way ahead of me. You know why it's so hard to get in shape? Because unless your work keeps you fit or you participate in some sort of sport or live in a city where walking places is practical most forms of exercise are boring as  hell after you do it once or twice. And time consuming. Consuming time that could otherwise be spent on the internets or reading or something. None of that makes it a good idea not to be in shape, but it's the truth.</description>
