		<description>Icame here because Iliked the picture. When I realized what story it was, I wished Ihadn&#039;t. i had to read this story several times growing up, and I never liked it. Only half of it is here. The little girl kept burning her matches until they were all gone and then she didn&#039;t have any to sell. Not that it really mattered, though. You see, as the last match burnt out, she died. While I know that the story is realistic for the period, It&#039;s just too sad. That painless death was the best she could hope for.</description>
