My very talented niece Courtney won first prize at the Colorado State Fair for her stunning photo of her friends’ preemie son with his dad’s hand. I’m so proud of her! Here’s my not nearly as wonderful photo of her and her son Evan with her photo and award.

That’s very cool for Courtney to win that prize. I have been thrilled, as you doubtless read in my blog, to win a couple of County Fair photo contests, but haven’t entered a State Fair.
Looks like baby turned out fine, or is that a different child?
