This morning a news reader on CNN made a point of saying that you cannot get swine flu from eating bacon. Are people really that ignorant and fearful?

Well, yes, but the illustration next to the Crackmonkey74 panel in the comic was obviously from the actual Crackmonkey which you can see if you click the link in my last reply. Which means xkcd is a fan, too, and I was impressed. :)
